On October 15, 2026, the "Department Self-Assessment Report (BÖDR) Consolidation, Control, and Student-Participated Evaluation Meeting" was held with the participation of the Aksaray University Department of Nursing Quality Commission, sub-working groups, and student representatives. During the meeting, the department's 2026 BÖDR drafts were reviewed in accordance with YÖKAK and HEPDAK accreditation standards, and significant decisions were made to ensure institutional integrity. Within the scope of quality assurance processes, it was decided to update the department's website, revise the mission and vision statements, and prepare workflows and job descriptions to strengthen institutional operations.
In this gathering, where internal stakeholders were included in the decision-making processes, the feedback from student representatives regarding educational and infrastructure facilities was meticulously evaluated. Accordingly, decisions were made to reschedule hospital clinical rotations so that students can develop their professional skills more actively, to review elective course quotas, and to initiate formal processes to improve classroom and laboratory infrastructures.
