The Nursing Department of Aksaray University held an internal unit evaluation meeting on "Updating the Web Page within the Scope of Quality" on September 8, 2026, moderated by Prof. Dr. Funda ÇETİNKAYA. Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kadriye SAYIN KASAR and department research assistants attended the meeting.
As a result of the discussions, deficiencies on the department's web page were identified, main topics were determined, and it was decided to complete the necessary arrangements by September 15, 2026. It was resolved that the updated advising lists for the 2026-2027 Fall semester will be published on the website and announced to the students via student representatives. Furthermore, to make the quality processes more inclusive, it was decided to include 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year student representatives in the quality sub-working groups.
Educational planning for students within the scope of preparations for the new academic year was also among the important agenda items of the meeting. To facilitate the adaptation process of new students, a comprehensive orientation training was planned, covering the introduction of the faculty and department, directives, the Bologna Information Package, and the use of systems such as UZEM, RİMER, UBYS, and ASÜM. In addition, it was decided to organize a "Hygiene Training" regarding the rules in the general areas of the faculty for both newly registered and all current students, and a work plan was established accordingly.
