The Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Aksaray University held two consecutive and significant evaluation meetings with the broad participation of faculty members, within the scope of preparations for the 2026-2027 Academic Year and quality assurance processes.

Student Adaptation Processes: To ensure the active participation of students in the quality processes, it was decided to determine class representatives, organize a comprehensive Orientation Training on September 21, 2026, and initiate preparations for the Uniform Donning Ceremony.
Accreditation (BÖDR - Unit Self-Evaluation Report): The activity plans of the quality sub-commissions were scheduled, and the participation of all personnel in the BÖDR writing training, to be held on September 18, was planned.
Bologna Information Package Update and Briefing In the second half of the session, the "Bologna Information Package Briefing Meeting" was held, sharing the points to be considered in the process of updating course information packages in line with YÖKAK criteria. The decisions taken in this context are as follows:
Matrix and Curriculum Adjustments: It was decided to leave the "All" option blank in the program outcomes matrices and to include only Turkish and English topic titles in the weekly course plans.
Diversification of Educational Methods: The active use of teaching techniques such as case analysis, concept mapping, and brainstorming in the conduct of courses was agreed upon.
Monitoring and Evaluation: The addition of learning objectives and references to course presentations has been made mandatory. A follow-up monitoring and evaluation meeting is planned for October 7, 2026, for the final check of the updates made.
