The Aksaray University Nursing Department Quality Commission and Sub-Working Groups held the "Revision Control and Final Evaluation Meeting" as part of the preparations for the 2026 Department Self-Assessment Report (BÖDR). During the meeting, the draft texts prepared by the sub-working groups were subjected to a detailed internal audit process to ensure the flawless execution of the reporting process, which is one of the most important steps of the quality assurance culture.
During the reviews, the compliance of the texts with academic writing rules and stylistic integrity, the consistency of the Maturity Level (OD) scoring determined within the framework of YÖKAK and HEPDAK standards, and the format compliance of the evidence and sources added to the report were meticulously evaluated. The formal and contextual deficiencies mutually identified by the commission members were reported to the relevant working groups for rapid revision.
Aiming to elevate the transparency and objectivity of the process to the highest level, the Department Chairmanship granted the teams additional time until October 26, 2026, to address the identified deficiencies. Furthermore, it was decided to implement the "Cross-Evaluation" method, a robust control mechanism in quality assurance systems. Accordingly, the final texts to be submitted on October 26 will be directed to different commission members—other than those who authored the report—for a final reading and verification process; thereby ensuring that the BÖDR is fully compliant with accreditation standards and entirely complete.
